Working at McDonald's Leiden, Alphen aan den Rijn and Sassenheim

At McDonald’s we are always open for good times. Every week, approximately 3.2 million visitors in the Netherlands visit us to experience our delicious products and excellent service. We want to make our guests happy and that is only possible if you are happy too. We therefore do a lot to create a good working atmosphere in our restaurants. Fun activities and staff events are regularly organised for our team. In addition, as an employee you get plenty of opportunities to develop yourself.

In addition, it is nice to know that you are becoming part of an organization that likes to give something back to society and has sustainability high on its agenda. We are the main sponsor of the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation. The Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation brings families with a sick or care-intensive child close together in the Ronald McDonald Houses, Living Rooms and vacation homes.

McDonald’s Corporation is now the largest restaurant chain in the world. With more than 34,000 restaurants in 120 countries. In the Netherlands, we currently have more than 250 restaurants. Six of which are owned by the organization where you will be working. In 2006, the first two restaurants within this organization were acquired. These are Beestenmarkt and Donkersteeg, in Leiden.

After these two restaurants, in 2011, two more restaurants in Alphen aan den Rijn, Alphen Drive and Alphen Centrum, were taken over. In 2015, a new restaurant was built and incorporated into the organization, this was the restaurant on Rooseveltstraat in Leiden. In 2016, the McDonald's restaurant in Sassenheim was the last to become a member of our organization.

As a Crew Member you are taking orders one moment and the other moment you are frying hamburgers or French fries or placing orders in the McDrive. At busy times, all colleagues go the extra mile to ensure that every guest is helped quickly. Moreover, with us you will learn to communicate clearly, collaborate in a structured manner and deal with different people. All things that you will enjoy for the rest of your life! Your experience within different zones (such as kitchen, counter, McDrive) allows you to quickly develop yourself.
