Job description:

We believe it's important that everyone at McDonald's can be themselves. As a Management Trainee, it's therefore crucial to provide constructive coaching to your crew, while also suggesting areas for improvement. By taking charge and delegating effectively, you'll identify and develop talent. You're adaptable, maintain a clear overview, and are confident in your decision-making skills.

It's also important that you feel comfortable in your workplace. You enjoy leading by example and can see things through the eyes of our guests. You have at least a vocational (MBO) level 3 work and thinking level. Management experience in the hospitality or retail sector is preferred, but we can, of course, teach you these skills.

As a Management Trainee at McDonald's, you'll always maintain an overview. The McDonald's restaurant is central to your role. You know all the ins and outs, know exactly how to schedule your staff, and keep the restaurant tidy. And after-shift administration? You'll have that perfectly organized, of course. Guests love coming to your restaurant because they always have a good time.

We give you every opportunity to develop yourself. As a Management Trainee, you'll develop through self-study and training to become a Floor Manager. Ultimately, you can even progress to Business Trainee, Assistant Manager, or Restaurant Manager!

Want to grow as a leader? Start as a Management Trainee

Do you want to develop your leadership skills? As a Management Trainee at McDonald's, you'll learn how to lead and motivate a team, and ensure a top-notch experience for our guests. You'll be fully involved in the restaurant and learn how to oversee, schedule colleagues, and ensure everything runs smoothly – from kitchen to administrative.

What's on our menu?

At McDonald's, you'll follow a learning path where you work and grow. Through training, self-study, and guidance from experienced colleagues, you'll gradually develop towards the role of Shift Manager. There are also opportunities for advancement afterward. You'll work in an enthusiastic team where you can be yourself and where there's room for your ideas and ambitions.

What's on your menu?

You have at least a vocational (MBO) work and thinking level. Experience in hospitality or retail is a plus – but even without experience, we're happy to teach you the tricks of the trade.

As a Management Trainee, you'll be a coaching leader. You motivate your team positively, but you're also honest about what could be improved. You're adaptable, maintain a clear overview, and make confident decisions. You also lead by example and always see things from the perspective of our guests.
