McDonald’s stores the applicants’ data during the recruitment and selection procedure. After completion of the procedure, McDonald’s will store the data for the period of time the applicant consented to. All data in the recruitment systems will in principle be deleted from the recruitment systems within 4 weeks of the end of the application process, either by rejection or entry into employment. If, for any reason, an application procedure in the recruitment systems is not completed, data will be deleted by the system administrator during the mid-year clean-up.

All data sent to the werkenbijmcdonalds.nl website uses encryption and communication with the server via https.

1.6. What rights does the applicant have?

Applicants have the right to access their personal data held by McDonald’s. McDonald’s allows access to the applicant’s data by making a written request to the relevant McDonald’s restaurant to which the application is addressed. Applicants also have the right to ask McDonald’s to restrict, correct, supplement or delete their data.

Under certain circumstances, you also have the right to data portability. This means that you may ask McDonald’s to make your data available in a structured, common and machine-readable form in certain cases. McDonald’s will comply with this request of the applicant, provided it is relevant for the application procedure.
